Patrick Acker
Operator-turned-advisor working with sponsors, investors, CEOs, searchers, and lenders.
I founded Veridex Partners because the advisory work most operators receive is fundamentally limited by what the advisor has never personally had to fix.
I spent five years at McKinsey across digital transformation, restructuring, and operational turnaround engagements. While there, I founded a search fund accelerator — a program built to help consultants and corporate operators bridge the gap between analytical training and the operating reality of acquisition entrepreneurship.
I then bought a lower-middle-market services business, personally guaranteed the debt, restructured the cost base, and made the hard people decisions. The full story is on the homepage. The relevant fact is that we doubled the size of the company in the three years following acquisition.
I now run Veridex Partners as an independent advisor. I work selectively — typically three to five active engagements — with operators and capital allocators who want a senior partner whose operating reps match the substance of the conversation.
